Main Responsibilities
- Review current M&E framework and provide advise on how to make the system more robust and effective to meet current M&E needs
- Collaborate with WiLDAF’s programme heads and project officers to collect, collate, review and analyze data from project sites including from third parties to track performance of WiLDAF’s projects
- Support WiLDAF Ghana Partner Programme and Project Officers in the preparation and submission of project reports to partner management for onward transmission to the appropriate partners
- Co-design effective strategy plans and tools for data collection, analysis and reporting
- Assist in training of third party project staff on specific project M&E frameworks following the update to the M&E system and framework
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Project Management, Information Management, Public Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics and or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ demonstrable track record in delivering M&E strategies and support to CSOs/NGO in the international development or project field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and or similar applications
- Knowledge and skills in quantitative and qualitative analyses
- Excellent analytical, written and oral communications skills
- Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
- Experience delivering Gender Equality and Social Inclusiveness integration training
- Culturally sensitive and aware of local customs and ways of working
- Fluency in English is required, and an additional language spoken within the region would be advantageous but not necessary
Project description and context:
Crossroads International will engage Canadians, Canadian stakeholders, Crossroads staff and volunteers, local partner organizations and women and men in sub-Saharan Africa to become Gender Equality Champions both in Canada and overseas.
The Volunteer Cooperation Program (VCP) aims to reduce gender inequalities and alleviate poverty by addressing gender-based violence, inequalities in access to resources and economic opportunities, and barriers in exercising strategic forms of choice, voice, and influence.

Women in Law & Development in Africa is a Pan-African women’s rights organization and network which is non-profit and non-government and contains 500 organizations, 1200 individuals and spreads over 27 countries
Description the volunteer mandate
The Monitoring and Evaluation advisor volunteer will be responsible for supporting the development of data collection and management tools for effective monitoring and evaluation of all the Ghana partners’ project activities at Wildaf Ghana.
Eligibility criteria

- Be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
- Willing to conduct fundraising and public engagement activities before, during and after the placement
- Share the commitment of preventing and addressing sexual misconduct
- In good physical and mental health (medical examination required)
- The volunteer needs to bring their own computer.
- The volunteer must be available to attend an online pre-departure training
Personalized support before, during and after the mandate provided by an experienced and welcoming team. The Crossroads’ experience includes the following:
- Daily living allowance (depending of the country of assignment)
- Plane ticket and local transport
- Pre-assignment online training.
