Description of the partner

DUNK

Description the volunteer mandate

The Sew Your Future – Step Up Project aims to empower single mothers and women at risk in the Jamestown community, Accra, by fostering self-awareness and resilience. As the project enters its third phase, the focus will shift toward establishing a women’s cooperative, enhancing beneficiaries’ access to the market, strengthening their knowledge and skills, and organizing community-driven events.

While significant progress has been made in equipping young women with vocational and soft skills, the project has not yet reached its full potential due to the divided attention of the current program team at DUNK. To maximize its impact, we believe that the Step-Up Project requires a dedicated resource person who can fully focus on its execution.
