Main Responsibilities
(29 % of total time allocated: Out of this 20% will be on FSTP and 9% on Non-FSTP)
The Project Officer will be expected to spend 29% of her time on the ENOUGH Project. Out of this, 20% of their time is to be spent directly managing the sub-granting scheme and monitoring sub-grantees’ implementation. Another 9% of their time will be spent organizing and providing technical assistance and training to strengthen the organizational, advocacy, and technical capacities of the co-applicant and third parties to prevent and respond to SGBV (no-FSTP because technical assistance and training are ineligible).
- Responsible for execution of activities under WiLDAF Ghana’s component of the ENOUGH! Project at both FSTP and non-FSTP levels
- Ensure the timely submission of reports to the Project Coordinator for review and onward transmission to the ENOUGH project PMU.
- Assist in executing the ENOUGH Project related tasks as may be assigned by the Project Coordinator
- Furnish the Project Coordinator with periodic reports per the ENOUGH! Project reporting guidelines but also indicating the progress of work outlining milestone achievements, work pending, constraints and discussion points
- Together with the M&E Officer, periodically visit project locations to track progress on the ground
- Regularly update the Communications Officer with information on the Project
- Comply with timelines for accounts, reports in line with donor demands
- Create resources towards establishing a better understanding of ENOUGH project for community and other stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Gender and Development, or PM
- Knowledge of Gender, Gender Based Violence Issues a plus
- Previous experience with working with children a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent facilitation skills and demonstrated technical writing skills for publication.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse international teams.
- Proficiency in standard software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Fluency in English is required, and an additional language spoken within the region would be advantageous but not necessary

The Volunteer Cooperation Program (VCP) aims to reduce gender inequalities and alleviate poverty by addressing gender-based violence, inequalities in access to resources and economic opportunities, and barriers in exercising strategic forms of choice, voice, and influence.

Description the volunteer mandate
WiLDAF Ghana is looking for volunteer (Project Support Officer) to provide technical assistance to the ENOUGH project. The Project Support Officer’s mandate will align with WiLDAF goal of supporting the organization in developing intervention and advocacy programs to prevent and respond to SGBV.
Eligibility criteria

- Be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
- Willing to conduct fundraising and public engagement activities before, during and after the placement
- Share the commitment of preventing and addressing sexual misconduct
- In good physical and mental health (medical examination required)
- The volunteer needs to bring their own computer.
- The volunteer must be available to attend an online pre-departure training.
Personalized support before, during and after the mandate provided by an experienced and welcoming team. The Crossroads’ experience includes the following:
- Daily living allowance (depending of the country of assignment)
- Plane ticket and local transport
- Pre-assignment online training.
