Description of the partner

Solidaridad is an international civil society organization with over 50 years of experience in developing solutions to make communities more resilient — from our early roots supporting repressed communities in Latin America to our current work fostering more sustainable supply chains. Solidaridad currently works in over 40 countries, on five continents, through eight independently supervised regional offices. The mandate of the volunteer is to provide professional, technical and advisory services to staff and to the program to promote women empowerment, gender equality and youth inclusion in all Programmes in the Zambia country office.

The Solidaridad Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) Thematic Learning Group (TLG) developed a research, learning guide and tools to equip staff, partners, and stakeholders with the necessary knowledge and skills for conducting research that facilitates learning. The Reclaim Sustainability (RS!) project staff are to embark on their studies for learning in the coming quarters. It is upon this that capacity building is required through a skilled volunteer for them to identify study cases, collect the data using the tools provided and synthesize the data for analysis to inform project, internal and external learning processes.
