Description of the partner

The Swaziland (eSwatini) Action Against Abuse is the main registered local non-governmental organization in Swaziland which provides a broad range of services focused on addressing Gender-based Violence in eSwatini. SWAGAA was officially launched on 12 October 1990. The organization does that in three integrated thematic areas. The Care and Support department empowers the survivors of abuse through offering counselling services, psychosocial support, and linkages to relevant service providers. Through the Prevention department, the organisation seeks to prevent abuse by raising awareness through various education programs such as the school-based Girls’ Empowerment program that has been implemented for 10 years.
